It's easy to want to resist change. To try to prevent the passing of the seasons in the air, or in our lives. But nature always persists with this movement because those changes are what allow us to grow. The leaves gather the sunlight and turn it into food, and the winter slumber is needed to find the strength to grow new leaves come Spring time. In all the uncertainty, sometimes the best thing we can do is to look up at the falling leaves in a moment of clarity and say "Thank You". Happy Thanksgiving. I'm so grateful for all those people in our lives who are witnesses to the changing seasons. The people that help us embrace the seasons whether they be of beauty, joy, triumph, sadness or challenges, that allow us the luxury of growth.
