Life gets hard but one thing is for sure, God is always watching over me! I recently had a chance to see a fashion show in my father’s hometown (unexpectedly!). But that same weekend I connected with a group for a fitness class and then was informed about this fashion show the day after. Two of my greatest passions, fitness and fashion! I was never “supposed to” be India and yet I had visions of this solo trip as a child. I knew not what it meant but I saw it. The good parts were going to coincide with hard, bad parts, that I would have little control over. All of this feels very predetermined. And it was. I am grateful I got to drag on of my uncles out on the town for this and very grateful he sacrificed his nap for my good time 😂 He is a former President of the Century Club turned homebody but it is a core memory for me in Bangalore. How does it feel having a daughter for a wee here, you seem stressed! I asked. I was also lucky enough to meet some of the beautiful models after the show 😍 I made new friends and memories in just under a week. I am so proud of my culture and my connection to this town thanks to my father and can’t wait to return. . . .
