THE ELEMENTS In what feels like a dream, amidst a very brief relief from lockdown here in Melbourne earlier this year, I travelled to Brisbane & celebrated one year of @esthetic.bride by collaborating with my industry heroes in the superb @arcos.villa A feat I would never have thought possible, especially given the past year here in Melbourne. To contribute to The Elements is something I will treasure forever & count myself incredibly blessed to have met & collaborated with the most talented collective of creatives. The vision was to emanate, collaborate & push all limits in a creative sense to harness & honour natures beauty. My love for nature & design I owe to my Italian heritage. My Grandparents grew up on the island of Lipari, south of Italy – my Mother would tell me that even the grapes on the island had a layer of salt on them, kissed with the air of Tyrrhenian Sea. From an early age, my Nonno & I would sit in awe of nature, each & every element. Hours spent studying the framework of the vein structure of a Fig leaf, dissecting a humble orange, layer by layer, peeling it together, to reveal the symmetrical & perfectly segmented citrus. Unveiling multiple seeds that had the power to regenerate & grow new tree’s – to this my Nonno would say ‘Eternity exists here’ To pay homage to such an element as WATER amongst the other elements of nature & witnessing the raw & finessed talent of everyone that contributed to this incredible shoot has truly been my honour.
