I’m without words ... to lose the two women who gave me so much life and truly birthed my art feels surreal. I am trying my best to find comfort in her TRULY LEGENDARY LIFE and that she is now united with so many of her loved ones: Grandpa Mac, Unc Arthur , Aunt Janis, Aunt Sharon , her ”Oldest Daughter” My Mama @pattyannfurr and many more. Grandma Mac ALWAYS knew what to say and ALWAYS had wisdom. She read me my first poetry and published my first works of poetry. THANK YOU FOR BEING A TRUE VIRTUOUS WOMAN, a mother to my mother and Grandmother to us all! Every word of poetry I speak on stage is for you, but right now I don’t even know how to make rhyme or reason.
