I thought raspberry chia jam was my favorite until I tried blueberry, and now it is my new obsession. Blueberry chia jam is healthy, sugar-free, and ready in about 15 minutes. There are so many ways to enjoy chia seed jam. Spread on toast or a sandwich, swirl in yogurt, cottage cheese, oats, or a smoothie, eat on top of pancakes or waffles, or add to baked goods. Blueberry Chia Jam ▫️2 cups frozen blueberries ▫️2 T chia seeds ▫️juice from 1 lemon ▫️optional: 1 T maple syrup for sweetness, but I think the berries are sweet enough so I typically omit it Add the frozen berries, juice from a lemon, and chia seeds to a saucepan and simmer over medium heat stirring occasionally until the berries are thawed and juicy (about 5-7 minutes). Once the berries are juicy, continue to simmer for 5-7 more minutes using a fork or spoon to help mash to your desired consistency as needed.
