This photo was taken at Erldunda Roadhouse, 200 km south of Alice Springs. I’ve been in the middle of know where many times before where there are not any lights for hundreds of kilometres, and no moon, but the sky this particular night eclipsed everything I have ever seen before. You could very easily see the Milky Way and its core. I was blown away.
