Going into this workout I decided there would be Three major keys:
1ļøā£ Run fast to the wallball, run fast to the dumbbells, run fast to the finish line! I needed to be one of the first men to the wallball every interval even if it felt like that pace was 'too fast'.
2ļøā£ Do the 26 reps fast but DO NOT give your judge the opportunity to no-rep you! Squat extra deep and throw the ball higher than required.
3ļøā£ Confidence in my overhead position for the DB snatches! I knew that feeling flexible in my shoulders was going to be imperative. Swipe on the photo š Chuck @mvmnt_fix š helped me out all weekend staying limber and pain-free. If you're in the Chicago area - you gotta look him up!
šØ The workout was a blur. I have some memories hearing my judge and Gui's judge counting our wallballs. I remember trying to switch the dumbbell between hands as fast as possible. That's really it.
When it was finished and we walked back to the cooldown area I was quite happy with how I performed. I ran fast, I got zero no-reps, and my shoulders felt solid ā

I usually don't look at the leaderboard but as I was biking the TV in front of me showed the placings in that workout. It said I came 5th and I thought oh cool that's a good score. My coach @david.onlytraining said no way you definitely finished higher something is wrong. So it took us quite a bit of time later that day but we watched all the footage online, filed a detailed complaint that based on the footage I should have been second place, and my score was adjusted š
