Repost from @mca_denver • Today we’re so excited to announce that Leilani Lynch @leilanilynch_ has been named MCA Denver’s Associate Curator! “I have always been interested in curatorial projects that highlight the most innovative artists in the field, while telling stories that are relevant to the surrounding community. I look forward to continuing this with the team at MCA Denver. I’m also thrilled to incorporate my passion for creating platforms for the local artist community to my role at the museum,” said Lynch. Lynch has most recently served as Curator at The Bass, Miami Beach. There, she organized recent solo exhibitions with Jamilah Sabur, Cara Despain, Naama Tsabar, Mika Rottenberg, Karen Rifas, and Aaron Curry, in addition to co-organizing exhibitions with Adrián Villar Rojas, Abraham Cruzvillegas, Haegue Yang, Pascale Marthine Tayou, and Paola Pivi. Her curatorial practice champions experimentation and critical engagement with the most urgent ideas circulating today.
