SHINY (BUT FUZZY) NEW BAR! This has been a long time in the build up, and although it's brand new, the feel is very much about a softness and warmth, with a real homeliness (and strong Bond villain's lair meets Kubrick vibes). It's amazing for us to be back in East London – very much the home of the brand, and a massive influence on our approach and pitch – but creating Seed Library felt really fitting of something we all needed right now; it embraces those wonderful touches where you can feel a human influence – a choice, a confidence to let go, or that fingerprint that makes it unique. This is a style I've always loved in music (Steve Albini's production was a key reference), and in painting and ceramics – as much as in my favourite wines and whiskies. So we've applied this to all aspects of the space! It's a super beautiful room with tonnes of texture and warmth, and the music, drinks and food should all tie together to reflect this embrace of natural variance, and all that (fuzzy) goodness. But the real magic, as always, is in the team. And they're a bunch of super friendly peeps who bring the warmth and approachability that the space was set up for. But a special shout out has to go to bezzie, partner in crime, and all round good egg @alexjslawrence (swipe for pic by @narratives.in.pixels of him with @danielgarnell looking reaaaall pleased about things) – this bar would never have come to life without him.
