There is no being, without becoming ✨ Waking Dreams 🌙 Burning Man 2022 🔥 )’( This burn was for the warriors. It was intense and beautiful. A world of energetic synchronized chaos where we lived absolutely free. We laughed, we cried, we shined, we danced, we screamed; we survived. For six weeks I dedicated myself to help build for my family and the collective. My tenacity came from a place of pure love and a desire to contribute. The older I get, the more I recognize that creating safe spaces and experiences for people to be / feel free brings me pure joy. This burn was also really difficult for all who attended, between the harsh physical conditions and post pandem collective energy. Challenges aside, ultimately, this year proved my strength. I came home a stronger woman, full of more love, and the most intense connection and gratitude to my family, my home @the_kazbah , my path, and this amazing community. I documented my journey so people could see the work that goes into creating this world. Burning Man is not a festival, it’s a worldwide gathering for us to share common languages: art, love, music, spirituality, humanity. If you survive, you thrive. Radical self-reliance: you against man against world against yourself. When things go wrong, you cannot ask “why?” You must ask “how do I fix it?” The ability to problem solve, fast, in extreme conditions... My 4th playa return, it keeps getting better. Two weeks ago I made it back home more exhausted than ever. I’ve been healing, resting and processing. Mending a silly little brace on my wrist, a bit of broken heart, and some dust stuck deep in my lungs... but ahh was it absolutely amazing! I hold on to a huge smile, a heart that feels full, and memories that light like fireflies in my mind. My soul and creativity is sparked from the burn... ignited... incredible... inspired... grateful 🙏🏻 I am full of magic. Lessons I leave with you: Be the energy you want to bring to this world.
