What an insane weekend. My first solo show 🕊 Appreciate everyone who came to the opening. I’ve been working on these pieces for almost two years, and to finally have them sitting on walls instead of in boxes on my studio floor is indescribable. In 2020, when my photo work was put on pause, I became entirely dedicated to learning. I bought a printer, forged relationships with knowledgable people, and fell in love with the process of bringing my ideas into the real world. Experiments after experiments after experiments. I always want to come up with new ways of doing or looking at things so that others may be inspired to do the same (also because making new shit just makes me happy). Producing this show was a huge step for me and marks a new chapter in my life that I’m going to continue growing on forever. Thank you to @marcellicci for giving me @my.pet.ram for the month and the guidance I needed to get this done. Thank you @jeff.soffer @jpd_17 for helping on the install and keeping me sane in there. Thank you @atelier_relief for constructing my favorite pieces ever. Thank you to my wonderful momma who created some of these pieces with me and inspired me since I was a kid.
