The things I remember most about my time with MJ over the years, are the things the cameras didn’t catch! ⠀ ⠀ One day, early on in the process, MJ and I were in a room trying to get a set list together. It was MJ, me, and his youngest son. ⠀ ⠀ BTW: MJ’s thought process on crafting a show was quite interesting and brilliant! (that’s a longer story for another time)⠀ ⠀ Somehow, (and I don’t remember how actually) he and I got into a conversation about grits! Lol 😆 I was like, “what you know about grits MJ?” He said, “Please! What YOU know about grits!?” And, off we go into this long tangent on grits! ⠀ ⠀ Somewhere in the middle of it, his son asked, “what’s grits?” ⠀ ⠀ MJ and I looked at each other and just started laughing!
