Fun evening celebrating the launch of Halo-Halo and supporting @deenortoncenter.
@makerspost_si was the perfect backdrop and everything was delicious @sullivansfishcamp! 🎉
Halo-Halo is a Sullivan’s Island based island streetwear brand created by Liza Green and her son Liam. Liam is the creative talent behind Halo-Halo’s trademarked logos and original artwork designs.
We partner with another minority, woman-owned manufacturer here in Charleston.
Halo-Halo was born after not finding quality, stylish Lowcountry/Sullivans Island apparel to bring home to New York when we used to vacation here and when we moved to Sullivans Island in 2017. Halo-Halo means mix-mix in Tagalog/Filipino. We are a mixed race family, Filipino-American and Irish living on Sullivans Island with our four boys.
Halo-Halo blends cultures, destinations and island vibes. We draw inspiration from the places we’ve lived, places we’ve traveled and destinations we dream of.
Halo-Halo is a nod to Sullivans Island, the Lowcountry and living the island life. It is also the story of hope and embracing your journey wherever it may take you.
