✨After 36 years of living on this orbiting rock, I can now say that I have successfully lived out one of my life long dreams to visit England. It was the start of September, I had just got home from my kids’ back to school night when I got a call from my management team “Are you available to travel to London in a few days?”, I turned to my husband and he looked at his Jane Austen-loving wife and said “you HAVE to go”. A few days later I was packed and on a flight. I can’t talk about the work portion yet, but I can (& absolutely will) share about how I extended my trip after the work portion was done and treated myself to a stay at the grandest property I’ve ever stepped foot inside to live out my English Countryside Pride & Prejudice dreams. I read, I jumped on the coziest cloud of a bed, I cried happy tears, I played dress up, I enjoyed the English rain, and I read some more.
