Divine Heart of Christ, My home. My safety. Oh what love you have poured out upon me. This pierced, bleeding, and fiery heart has pierced my own in the total givenness of love. It has purified me with blood and water, making me new. Precious Jesus, my very life depends on the beating of your heart. It is the steady rhythm that I dance to in the suffering moments. In the moments of complete surrender, I know that your love holds me there. In my poverty you have come close. You are drawn to the ugliness of my own heart. In return, I am drawn to yours. The crucified and disfigured heart that has been totally spent. It comforts me in way of knowing I do not suffer alone. It soothes every part of my aching one. Your pierced heart I can deny nothing. You trust me with your heart, and I trust you with mine. I pray that the world may know how precious they are to you in your Most Sacred Heart. That they are a gift to you and and that you burn with love for them. I pray they know the mercy that is freely flowing from your side specially for them.
