So my college sweetheart moved out to L.A. to chase the dream. She worked her way from a production assistant to a member of the D.G.A. We kept in contact over the years and today remain close friends. Ariana called me up and asked me to read a treatment she wrote. I thought it was great and told her she MUST make this film. She then asked, "Would you be my Cinematographer," and I said, "I would absolutely love to." This film was special to me right off the bat. We made films in college together, and today we are still making films. In my opinion, filmmaking is the master of all art mediums and its humanity's strongest means of communication. We, as filmmakers, stumbled upon this medium thinking that it would be fun, then fell obsessively in love with it.
