Woke up and chose superstardom today 🥲💪 😭 @equinox You guys I am not lying I literally am soooo emotional posting this right now!!!! I am not even giving shows, like I am crying tears of joy right now 😭😭😭 I’ve been blessed to have more than a few “I’ve made it” moments this year and this new @equinox campaign is hitting me soooo hard...what an amazing accomplishment to wake up to this morning.... From a convo with @justintmoran former Editor in Chief at Paper Magazine and friend of over a decade: “In honor of Pride, we spoke to downtown It girl @im_linux about the universe of nightlife and treating life like a bootcamp. Linux is a fixture on the NYC club scene, and truly found acceptance -and herself-in the experience of going out. "[Nightlife] brought out that higher power in me that I couldn't necessarily be working a nine-to-five or at college, getting an education in political science," she says. "In the universe of nightlife, there's just so much more freedom to think outside the box - you're not constrained by societal rules of how you need to dress, how you need to act, how jokes should be, what kind of music you should like. A lot more rules fly out the window, and there's a lot more freedom to just really express yourself.” This past New Year's Eve, Linux had a health epiphany that changed her relationship to fitness. "I said to myself, 'Okay, Linux, you are getting older. You've got to really start treating life like it's a bootcamp in every aspect. You can't just slay at work and then think that that's going to be enough.' So I really started working out and pushing my body and just basically trying to make every part of my life an accomplishment."” Thank you so much again to @equinox and the team who worked so well together on this campaign.
