TW: One of the painful realities of childhood sexual abuse, is the higher percentage of that individual being at risk to sexual assault, sex trafficking, or prostitution throughout their life (and an even higher percentage for LGBTQ+ individuals). All things I have either experienced or been opened up to throughout the course of my life. I hope by sharing some of my own personal battles that I can bring awareness to not only the childhood abuse to trafficking/prostitution pipeline, but then the resulting stigma that remains around sex work/workers that further isolates individuals out of society, impacting them socially and economically.
