Mother In Morning Calm, oil on canvas. This past year my mother was able to go back to her home country after being away for 24 years. It’s my depiction of her walking from out of a cave and into the foreground. The colors are symbolic of the Korean flag but more so who we are as Zabawa’s. Fiery attitudes with compassionate hearts.
