Through music education 🎵, students at the Redes 2025 music program in Tijuana, Mexico develop life-changing values such as self-discipline, tolerance, respect, responsibility and a sense of identity. Music education is also used as a tool to prevent delinquent behavior amongst young people at risk. Every week, boys and girls between the ages of seven and seventeen take music classes and learn how to play the different classical instruments that make up an orchestra as well as popular-contemporary music instruments. 🎻 Students also have the opportunity to take vocal classes. The singing method implemented by this program focuses on the idea that when we sing, we do it with our bodies, souls, and minds.
