after attending @eggzachle’s fire academy graduation and getting vietnamese food to celebrate, a stranger stopped the two of us on the street outside the restaurant to say she was enamored and intrigued with the connection she felt between the two of us. “how are you two related?” she asked. we responded, “well, we are brothers, not by blood per se but... brothers.” i’ve never been prouder to be your brother, zach. your selflessness and servant-hearted nature is illuminated and affirmed by your choice to be a firefighter. i’ve witnessed and received this selflessness our entire friendship. the people in oxnard are so lucky they have you in their corner (as i am too!). your loyalty is admirable and you’ve been so persistent in this very challenging and difficult process. it’s all paid off— and just beginning ! i love you so much ❤️‍🔥
