Meet Boogie. When we first met him he had a shattered hip, was 25 lbs underweight and had been found on Melrose Blvd while trying to find food and water. Despite all that, when we met him he was happy. He was not trepidatious. He was not afraid of what might happen next based on what happened before. Boogie now has a fully functional hip replacement, weighs 115lbs and gets healthy dog food with some fancy (probably unnecessary) food topper dust and filtered water. But the best part of all this; he is incredibly kind, loving and holds no grudges after all the hardship he experienced before. Moral of today's story is- you never know what lies ahead if you can keep your mind and energy as good as you can and your heart open to it. Easier said than done I know, but today I'm trying to remember to be like Boogie. #be #like #boogie
