When I first visited Chicago at age 17, I knew instantly that it was where I wanted to be. I’ve spent my whole adult life here and learned so much from the rich musical legacy of this city and the people in it. @honeydijon and @djheather have both been standout influences in shaping my understanding of the legacy of house - the feeling. It’s extremely humbling to share a lineup with these iconic Chicago DJs and share a taste of what house means to me from 10-12:30 tomorrow night at @smartbarchicago I’m also honored to have a mix up for @smartbarchicago that showcases my interpretation of that Chicago feeling.
