I volunteered with @thisisabouthumanity for the holidays. We were able to prepare treats in our relief kitchen opened in partnership with @icfdn and @fundaciontijuanasinhambre who provide 2500 meals a day to children and families at the border. We were able to bring music and dancing, toys, and gifts for the Holidays to the students at @YesWeCanWF which is the first bilingual school program at the US-MX border providing migrant children full time education and safe spaces throughout their migrant journey. At Yes We Can, migrant children are cared for regardless of their legal status. Please follow their account for ways to help 🙏🏻 and spread good news. We were lucky to have our partners @immdef_lawcenter on this trip to help us understand what changes need to happen to restore and protect asylum.
