HERE’S A TRUE STORY. We proudly present our twelfth winner of the monthly #️⃣ LO_Dec22 sessions. ★CONG👑RATS★ to: 📲 @mandads456 . Once upon a time at an ice rink in @kewgardens. I saw an older woman clinging onto the safety railings around the ice. I went up and said: ‘this is not keeping you safe. It stops you from having fun.’ I then ⛸⛸ on but moments later I saw her skate freely like a 🦆 takes to water. We smiled at each other. After our session was up, I bumped into her in the skates return space. She thanked me and said if I were to give her skating lessons, she could teach me to paint. That’s yet to happen. The moral of the true story is, ice skating is just a metaphor of life. You can read about it, hear others describe it or even watch numerous videos on how to skate. But until you put on your ⛸⛸ and just have a go, it’s a filtered intellectual exercise. Above all, you’ll never find out how free and warm you might feel, until you LET IT GO!!️ Fear is your greatest enemy. The above ice rink @somersethouse is open till 15 January. For this reel, I have compiled two posts from Miranda and added a soundtrack from @disneyfrozen which I have seen four times now.
