2025 was meant to be my recovery year.. until it wasn’t. 😩 We started off strong. I was finally off steroids, moon face was fading, labs were steady. But the withdrawals hit hard with joint pains, stiffness & telogen effluvium that led to the big chop. 💇🏻‍♀️ Still, I was finally starting to feel like me again. Then midyear hit: my chronic hives returned, I got a (thankfully negative) skin biopsy & eventually a full-on kidney relapse that landed me right back in the hospital. Now I’m ending the year in recovery mode all over again. Same symptoms, same timeline, same nearly everything. 2025 has truly been a roller coaster of a year. 🎢 Just trying to make the most of everything in between.
