Am I “okay”? Absolutely not. I cry maybe once a year so if you see me like this, I’m down bad. Real real bad. Am I grateful that I am discovering my father had friends who remember him well into his 80s (almost 90!) despite the fact that he battled Parkinson’s disease with me for years? Yes! I never knew. What a blessing to have people who are not even blood related who remember you and check in on you like this. I don’t want to let them go 🫶 thank you all again for your messages even if I can’t respond to them all. Generally it takes me 2-4 years to get over something upsetting that is less traumatic than my father’s passing. I know I’ll never truly “get over it” but if you watched his video to the end and read all the details about my incredible father’s life, I am grateful for you. I would be nothing without him!
