From Hands + Heart With so much marketing language about ‘farm to face’ and plant based ingredients, it can be impossible to tell if a brand is what you are truly seeking. We do our best to tell you who we are through our images as well as our words, and this image tells you exactly who we are. Especially this time of year, we are receiving non-stop deliveries from our partnering farms. We sort every single leaf and flower by hand. Inspecting it carefully for the quality we are expecting. Each leaf and flower gets sorted out and makes its way into an oil bath, water bath or a jar of some kind. We even do all of our powdering in-house. This often doesn’t sound like a big deal, but it is a HUGE deal! Pre-powdered bulk herbs are often years old by the time they make their way into a formula and are far into their oxidation phase. By powdering our plants in-house we are keeping them as fresh as possible for you to ensure their antioxidant content and potency. The thought and care we have long put into details like this are what have long set us apart. While we can’t show you each and every step of our processes here at our apothecary-lab, we can assure it is a thoughtful and mindful place. There are lots of human hands and hearts involved in our process, and a never ending attention to detail. There is intention behind everything that we do. xo Laurel
