Since my recent reel on my former construction job seemed to bother some people, here’s a more detailed reel on how I got started as a content creator. I initially wanted to model but it didn’t work out at the time so I decided to channel my love for fashion into content creation. Contrary to some peoples opinions, I haven’t ‘made it’ I’m still on my journey. I’m just sharing the process and progress so far with you. The point of these reels are to show you I’m no different from You and while I may have the ‘numbers’ or ‘likes’ or whatever now, it wasn’t always the case, I started from the scratch. I've been homeless, slept in bathrooms, nearly lived in a shelter, made $20 a week working in an hair salon, $5 per hr at a dollar discount store, $8 per hr as a restaurant dishwasher, $11 per hr processing meat in a cold room factory, $13 per hr as a security guard, $15 per hr as a construction worker, dropped out of college cos I had no money to continue. I’m just at a point now where I understand that as much as I hate the struggle, it’s all a part of the process and wanted to offer some encouragement to everyone who might be going through a hard time right now. Don’t give up, keep going! I believe in you, just believe in yourself.
