We are committed to maintaining the quality of experience and ingredients you have come to expect from us, but doing so means we have to adapt to our environment. The realities of today's cost of doing business have unfortunately changed. From our vendors and partners, the price of: - Eggs are up 73% - Chocolate is up 32% - Butter is up 68% - Avocados are up 70% - Milk is up 29% - Sugar is up 6% - Fresh fruit is up 11% - Salt is up 9.5% As a bakery and cafe, you can imagine how much of these ingredients we go through each day, and how this has impacted our day to day cost of baking and cooking. We feel lucky and grateful to get to take advantage of the amazing quality products we get to work with each day at Tartine. You will notice small price increases today in our cafes, and we wanted to provide a bit of insight on where this came from.
