😔 Who can relate to that feeling? What are those things that you feel like doing when you’re low in mood, that you recognise will keep you stuck? We might get the urge to listen to sad music, avoid social events, put off things we need to do, and generally hide away from the world. But in those moments, here are just a few of the actions that can help you to lift your mood in the moment: • Moving your body. Doesn’t need to be the gym. Dance around your house, walk the dog. Anything counts. • Seek out social connection with people you trust. Isolation keeps low mood going. • Switch up the sad music for something more uplifting that could shift your emotion state. • Seek out situations that induce a sense of awe. Being in nature can do this for many people. What would you add this this list? 👉More on this in my No.1 Sunday Times Bestselling book, Why Has Nobody Told Me This Before? (Currently -50% off @ £7.50 inc delivery see link in bio). Filled with insights from therapy about how to deal with real life problems. If don’t want to read it and would like me to read it to you, it’s free when you sign up to Audible link in my bio 😉
