So, on June 5 this momma snapping turtle laid her eggs on the edge of our lawn (first video). I’ve been checking every day recently for evidence of the eggs successfully incubating and hatching, and look what I found today, three months later (second video)! They hatched overnight and took off hopefully to live long, happy lives. The third video shows how much she dug up the dirt and even asphalt to prepare her hatching spot. So, so cool! 🐢🐢🐢🐢
