house upon the hill

The power of editing is something that has truly amazed me throughout the years. Many people might laugh at a bunch of photographers taking pictures in the same location, but I find it exciting knowing that if they edit their images that none of them will look the same.
Colorgrading and creative edits took me a while to learn, but once I began experimenting it really made photography so much more interesting to me.
I think editing is sometimes looked down upon because some photographers hide the fact that they edit their photos. I used to look up to many people and wonder how they could get a shot straight out of camera with such vibrancy and dynamic range.
At the end of the day, you just have to remember that editing is part of photography and that everyone edits no matter if they disclose it or not.
Here are a series of images of a house that I truly love. I took the edit many ways because I couldn’t figure out what I liked the most. Ultimately I posted it to match my feed but I like some of the other variations better. Which one is your favorite?
P.S. if you want to learn how to edit then check out my YouTube channel because I breakdown the fundamentals to edit without any BS or “secrets”.
