Hey Friends! Want a chance to support a really cool program that introduces underserved youth in the DC area to climbing and the outdoors, AND see a bunch of double-digit boulders get climbed by a group of mutant boulderers (and myself)?!? Well, here is your chance! Follow the link in my story or bio and check out the donation website- you can pledge a specific amount for each problem V10 and above that I (and the other participating @madrockclimbing athletes) complete in a 24-hour period (yes, it’s a climb-a-thon!), or just donate at will! This program is super rad, and I’m thrilled that my otherwise useless skill of climbing difficult rock faces will be put toward a good cause for once. A little bit about the program below: — “The Mentor+ Climbing program (a branch of the Youth Leadership Foundation @ylf_DC) provides first-time free access for students from the Washington D.C. community four days a week. To create greater access equity for outdoor recreation, and instill a passion for outdoor spaces and conservation, it utilizes climbing as a catalyst for one-on-one mentorship and relationship building.
