Today is the day! It’s finally here. This was an absolute passion project for me, an experience I never knew I needed. I didn’t anticipate leading the makeup department but honestly God had his own plan and I’m happy I accepted the challenge. This might seem wordy to some but to those who know will understand. I can’t express my gratitude enough to @katorihall for seeing my ability to co create with her. These characters have been alive and evolving in her head for over a decade, she’s truly a genius. This cast was a dream, they all have these characters embedded in them but they were so willing to trust myself and my team, for that I love them all. Last but most important my team. When I say they made me feel so fearless. They allowed me to lead and to teach and in turn I learned soooo much from each of them. This wasn’t an “easy” show I’m grateful they stuck through it with me. They are all powerful, creative and talented. I felt like I was putting together Oceans 17 when we assembled lol.
