It is never luck, it’s hard work and believing in your dreams 💭 Literally dreamt of doing this since I was a tiny little girl. I used to have big dreams of modelling and being on set. I used to sit in front of my mirror and practice facial expressions since I was 16 years old. I also got rejected by quite a few well known agencies in Cape Town in the beginning and only started properly booking jobs when I was 20. It goes to show that we never know how much work has gone into something when we just see the final product on social media. All these things take time to develop until they become the real thing. Everytime I’m on set I am so grateful for the opportunity and I literally loved every second - even if I’m tired or hangry 😜 I’ve learnt that gratitude never gets old and it’ll always be cool to be grateful. However, gratitude usually only comes when hard work has happened in order to get where you are. So if you take anything from this post, know that hard work will always pay off. It is so worth it when you get to where you want to be. Enjoy the journey because all those memories are the stories you can share when you reach those goals.
