Good morning ! Tonight is the night and I honestly cannot wait to meet all of you. This event has been growing rapidly and I love the community it has been forming. Let’s end the year off on a great note. I’m gonna lay out a few rules which are very simple for you to follow. 1. If your usb is not updated through rekordbox please make sure to do that before you come to the venue. 2. No dj controllers are allowed for this event. It is strictly usb only. 3. Sign up is first coke first serve. Please do not coke at 1am asking for a time slot or to be put on before anybody else plays. you will be asked to sign up and wait like the rest. 3. Each dj will have 15 minutes to play whatever they want. There is not restriction to what genre you want to play. 4. After your 15 minute set you will b2b with the next dj that is playing after you. You guys will have 3-5 minutes to play 2 songs each during this session. 5. If you are a dj that is booked a lot I will not consider you for this event. This event is more for upcoming djs who aren’t super established yet and would love to play in front of a crowd. 6. Do not be afraid to compliment another dj and exchange info to possibly work in the future. 7. If you are coming to this event and you are not a dj. Enjoy yourself and please keep your harsh comments to yourself. (Just because a dj messed up once doesn’t mean they don’t have room to grow and I want to continue to encourage djs to practice and be better) 8. Please rip your @dingalingcocktaillounge bartenders. Their super chill and very nice and know how to make a slamming whiskey sour (which is my fav) 9. Early arrival is suggested !
