I am over the moon to announce my upcoming largest work to date that will be the fruit of my fellowship @blackcube.museum. After years of research we have now found the land I had been looking for... a 800m diameter circle originally used for agriculture, irrigated with a central pivot irrigation system. San Luis Valley is hardly hit and water levels are getting so low... This is a proposal to transform the land into a rain-making device, a collaborative opera at a massive scale between a land, the weeds, sandhill cranes, the wind, past and future mythologies, farmers, community members, soil scientists, bird specialists and more.
