Remember when you could post at any time of the day and it didn't matter cause our individual identities weren't tied up to an algorithm, not only to have our data bought and sold but also to have our individual identities commodified? I can't believe I had a thought that was "damn I wonder if this post will even be seen" because the photo doesn't fit into the algorithm. Thinking about making reels because that's what's asked of us now. I'm not a content creator and I won't ever be. I'm an artist trying to navigate my way through trends, the swings of market place dynamics, housing crisis's, climate catastrophes, civil unrests, global pandemics, and this so called cultural revolution that is just another part of a cycle that capitalism and bourgeoise has us repeating over and over.
