Getting ready to run my WORST marathon to date. Yea, you’ve heard me right. I know going into my 11th marathon it will be my worst. And I’m not afraid to admit it. Will I do the best I can. Sure, cuz like have you met me? I’m determined but I’m also a realist. And I’m ok with it. Whatever the outcome will be.
I do not recommend deciding to move on a whim and do the move all by yourself (with few helping hands) in 3 weeks time while training for a marathon. I’ve missed many runs. Some long runs too. The hot/humid weather wasn’t helping me stay motivated or the amount of overtime I have been working. This girl has some financial goals!
My running journey has hit the ultimate low. I feel sluggish, unmotivated and outright tired.
Upcoming weeks will be a struggle, one that I will have to battle. This post is by no means to spew sympathy but to be transparent that it is ok to not feel ok. And in this not ok I will find a way to feel okish again. For today, I rest cuz this hamstring hurts like a bish.
