Starting today, this mural will turn a mile-long stretch of Downtown city blocks into a veritable open-air museum, brought to life with the help of the Downtown District, TotalEnergies and Street Art for Mankind, a global non-profit that works with international street artists to raise awareness for the 17 Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the UN General Assembly. In typical Houston fashion, we decided to do something much bigger after coming together with Street Art for Mankind, Commissioner Ellis and Kris Larson and deciding to create a much more large-scale campaign as a way for all Houstonians to come together and start a conversation about building a better future that everybody would like to see.
