He taught me how to play chess and Risk! and listen when you eat Rice Krispies. He took me to see the best scariest movies at way too young an age. He loved John Candy, Steve Martin, Star Trek, Stanley Kubrick, Mel Brooks, Ennio Morricone, and the James Bond songbook. He was a great talker and storyteller. While showing me the constellations in the night sky he would recount the ancient stories behind them. He was an embarrassment factory who generated many legendary and insane stories that will be told for years. We fought for four decades, and will probably pick that up down the line again if there’s ever any opportunity ... I don’t think it would ever be plausible to wish for Haig Adomian to “rest in peace” and expect him to agree to it, but I do hope he is way far out there in the burning stars finding more stories to tell ...
