INTRODUCING THE DAC PRINCESS PROGRAM πŸ‘‘πŸ’–πŸŽ— THE DANCERS AGAINST CANCER PRINCESS PROGRAM IS A COLLECTION OF PAGEANT PARTICIPANTS WHO CHOOSE TO REPRESENT DAC THROUGH THE USE OF THEIR PLATFORM AND TITLE. DAC PRINCESSES ARE AMBASSADORS OF DANCERS AGAINST CANCER IN THE PAGEANT CIRCUIT WITH THE GOAL OF UNITING THE TWO WORLDS OF DANCE SHOES AND CROWNS FOR A GREATER CAUSE. BEING A DANCER AGAINST CANCER MEANS YOU SPREAD AWARENESS WHEREVER YOU GO WHETHER IT’S A DANCE COMPETITION OR A PAGEANT. OUR GOAL IS TO USE OUR PLATFORM TO HELP SUPPORT DANCE FAMILIES FIGHTING CANCER. EVERY DAC PRINCESS BELIEVES WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER. We are honored to have @jourdanwaddell as our DAC PRINCESS MENTOR. 🀍 Jourdan Waddell is a New Orleans native who grew up dancing in the dance competition industry with her hometown dance studio, Creative Dance in Slidell, Louisiana. After graduating from high school, she attended Northwestern State University of Louisiana, where she began her involvement with the Miss America and Miss Louisiana Organizations. In 2017, Jourdan competed in her very first pageant, simply because it allowed her to showcase her passion for dance in the talent portion of competition. Just six months later, she competed at Miss Louisiana for the first time where she placed in the Top 5. Since then, she has been vying for the title of Miss Louisiana, most recently placing 2nd Runner-Up! In June 2023, Jourdan will compete once again to follow her dream of dancing on the Miss America stage!
