I'm trying to improve my fish photography... but this Great Crested Grebe was eating them all 🤷‍♂️😉 This is another shot from the 2021 archives i never got around to posting 🙈 I did post another shot of this grebe but without the fish. It was the only time i saw a great crested grebe in this location for 5 years. Quite honestly this was a lucky shot to get, i weren't prepared for it. The grebe was in the shade, my exposure settings weren't set up correctly but with a little play in Adobe lightroom ive been able to get something out of the original file im relatively happy with. I also didn't think grebes would try to eat Perch, especially not one this large but i guess they do. Id like to spend more time this year photographing them, i only know a few locations but they dont allow me to get water level. But ill see what happens.
