January 1, 2023 This dress hung in my closet all of December but no where to wear it really. I woke up today exceedingly clear (first time no booze on NYE) and thought I’m gonna put on that dress, walk out the door and see where these sequins take me. Discovery: The vastness of a raging sea, the delight of the most gorgeous green grass after yesterday’s rain, and we even stumbled upon an abandoned lot with an exterior fit for an episode of Wednesday. My wish for you in 2023 is that instead of clinging so tightly to the order and planning of each detail of your life, that you open yourself up to the mystery and impermanence each day has to offer.
