GOOGLE “how to be a man” and it’s full of articles of men proclaiming they know what it takes, but this is not about becoming a man, it’s about “BEING CONFIDENT IN YOUR SEXUALITY.” I am a straight male and know that will never change, but I have been defined by others as “Gay.” 1. You should never use that term unless a guy likes a guy or a girl likes a girl. It’s a problem when people struggle to use the correct word to describe something, because it’s become so slanted by people charging it with hate and ignorance. 2. What you wear shouldn’t define your sexuality. This photoshoot was to show creatively that I am confident with my sexuality and that I can wear whatever I want and still know who I am. I don’t care about opinions of others and any male/female out there struggling with peoples opinions should know that once you accept yourself and ignore the slang, YOU will live a life with no hesitation to be YOU. . . . “Gay” has been turned into a bad word by people who have chosen to use it as an insult. I was called this by so many people in High School / College and it sickens me that people still use it in that way. We are better than that now. . . . I love my friend group that is mostly Gay/Bi-Sexual. I appreciate what they have done for me and what they continue to do for me with helping me grow with knowledge about what they have to deal with on a day to day basis. . . . Anyone struggling with confidence or feel like they are being held back, message me and I will listen.
