1935, the first Radiomir watch prototype. The Italian Navy's historical archives record that in1935 they commissioned to Giuseppe Panerai and other suppliers some prototypes for a military diver watch to carry out technical tests for their new underwater units. The winner was the “ Orologio al Radiomir ” by Panerai Ref. 2533, assembled with Rolex mechanical components and case and completed in Florence.
