My beautiful, whip-smart, hilarious friend Kimberly (pictured on the right, saying something witty, per usual, no doubt) left this Earth yesterday and it’s been hard to accept the idea that someone so full-of-life is gone. Always the smartest person in the room, with the best laugh, biggest hugs, and most poignant, thoughtful opinion about what’s going on in the world. I always looked forward to discussing the sociopolitical issues of the day with you, usually at a loud bar or party, yelling over the music, deep in conversation, ignoring the messy chaos around us. I always hoped you’d run for political office someday and I told you as much. You said you had considered it and that gave me hope for the future. You were a class act, a firecracker, and my forever hype-(wo)man. Sending love and big Kim Eaton hugs to all those who were lucky enough to know and love her. Rest easy, lady. We miss you already. 🤍🤍🤍
