#homeiswheretheheartis 💙💛💙💛 So I find myself back @oceanviewclub staying in my same beachfront shack I’ve been coming to for over 20 years. To call it special doesn’t cut it, and magic seems cheesy. I honestly think of it as home. When I first arrived years ago, the formidable, eccentric, smart-as-whip, tough-as-nails, FABULOUS @pip.knockabbey ruled the roost and tried to make us all behave, if even a little bit. @portiaskitchen242 , our den mother and cook would do her best to keep us in line. Pip had great success in running the joint but we were all kind of hot messes as guests I think. Flash to current day where her warm, handsome, charming and capable son #BenSimmons with his beautiful firecracker of a wife #Charley and their 2 kids #Roxy & #Beau welcome us lifers back, and now we’re too tame to give them much trouble. My joy comes in watching the continuity of life play itself out in a grand Bahamian fashion in these shacks and chic rooms. I consider the day a success if I’ve taken some great pictures and gotten a little more tan! 😜 So thank you dear Pip,and Portia and Ben, Charley, Beau, Roxy and Willy for being my Briland family for 20 years and counting😎🙌🏼📸!!️
