Newest and best Vietnamese spot just opened in NYC! Grand opening today — lunch and dinner Fri–Sun, and dinner only on weekdays. They started in the Bronx (now sold), then opened Bánh on the Upper West Side, and now they’re downtown. Bánh mì bread is baked in-house (soft, airy, crusty, and fluffy), and rice noodles are made fresh on-site, making their pho extra good — meaty broth that’s not too heavy, with amazing steak and tendon. They also mill their own rice for bánh cuốn (rice rolls), one of their specialties. The menu features rare regional Vietnamese dishes with super fresh ingredients. The space is beautiful, service is smooth and attentive, and it’s already packed at lunch — expect a line for dinner!📍Banh Anh Em . . #vietnamesefood #nyc #nycfood #newyork #nyceats
